How to get to  ?

How to Commute?

1. Take a bus bound to Batangas Terminal. There are buses in Cubao and Buendia. Fare is 160 pesos.

Private Vehicle

If you want to bring your private vehicle it is fine. You can easily follow Google Map and Waze for the direction. There are paid parking in the area. Please note those that travelling from San Andress to Sampaguita Beach would be a bit Challenging and not all vehicle can make it. If you decide to bring you vehicle make you sure that you have above average driving skills 😊

We stayed in Batong Buhangin Beach Resort. They have rooms were you can stay price ranging from 4,000 to 6,000 pesos. How ever we opted to pinch our tent with a 240 pesos for overnight. The resort have a pool as well just incase the shore does nor permit you to swim. Since it is Amihan season already when we came there. There are mini sari-sari store in the area. The resort itself has a stir but a bit pricey. You can asked them too cook rice for you if your in a group just like us. They also have meals like silog if you opted not to bring your own food supplies. If you want to save bring your own food. There are facilities we're you can cook and prepare you food in the resort.

During the off pick season, Sampaguita Beach is a nice place to have your quick get away from the busy city. A place we're to can enjoy serenity. We're you only hear the splash of water from the shore. It's not as fancy as other well known beaches. It doesn't have fine white sand though it isn't black. It is still a good place where you can chill and make "walwal" with your friends without the need of travelling too far and no need for boat rides.

Travel Guide : How to Get to Mt. Batulao?

By Bus:

1. Take a bus bound for Nasugbu – Lemery. Inform the conductor that you’ll be going to Mt. Batulao. Exit the bus when you get to Evercrest Golf Course in Lemery, Batangas. Travel time is roughly 2 to 3 hours depending on the traffic.

2. Once you get to Evercrest, you can either walk or take a tricycle going to the jump-off point which is Php 20.00 per head. In our case, since we ran out of budget, we walked from Evercrest going to the jump-off point.

By Car:  Follow the route to Tagatay until you see Evercrest.

Mt. Batulao Conquered!

I am not new with hiking and nature. I've been exposed into nature trips, hiking, camping and more as early as 6 years old. But after few years I become busy a lot of things and wasn't able to give time with this passion. Finally after a decade I had a chance to do one of activities that I love - hiking! Through my Office mate Jann I was invited to join their climb with Trail Warriors and without any hesitate I immediately said YES! I haven't had any hiking activity for a long time and less exercise but it didn't stopped me from pursuing my passion for hiking. Then Nov. 5 2016 came and that passion was fulfilled again.

We went to Mount Batulao and conquer it. It was tiring and I will eventually get body pains but everything is worth it. Because more than the tired feet and body pains I brought home in my heart the peace that the nature brings. the joy for fulfilling my passion and meeting new people. the fulfillment and satisfaction for conquering my fears and I also took home the thought that there is no mountain to tall that I cannot be conquered . I have proven to myself that I can still do a lot of things even with my current situation right now.

We chose the 4th one since we have some guys who are beginners.

Villa Ester Resort, San Pascual Batangas - Batangas City

I had my very fisrt Undas (all saints and All Souls day) at San Pascual, Batnagas City with my first Jonel, Ruther, Joel and Nathaniel. This was my very vacation during this holiday since I started working. We spend our vacation at Jonel's house that is right in front of Villa Ester Resort. We spent our vacation Swimming, bowling, tracing Jonel's childhood history and basically just chilling out.

When we visit Villa Ester Resort we were the only guest their. It's like it was exclusive for us. The Resort have three swimming pools. The plase is nice and very spacious. They also have hotels/room if you want to spend over night their.

My first Undas vacation...

I just got home a short yet very great vacation from San Pascual, Batangas in Jonel"s place. Thank God for His guidance. I really had a great time with this vacation together with Kuya Ruther, Eljay and Joel.

We left Malabon at pass seven in the morning since Ate Mabel had to convince Joel to come with. He was so hesitant to come with us. Thank you Lord for the convincing power of Ate Mabel. it was really a great help. Without Joel with us I am sure that our vacation won't be that fun. Anyway we rode a bus from ALPS going to Batangas. Before we went to Tanauan we ate in a Karinderia. Honestly the food was not that good except for the Adobo. The serving is not enough. We just ate there since we don't have a choice because we were so hungry that time. When we reached the house of Jonel we just stayed there for a while after lunch then we went back to the city. We went bowling. It's just duck pin yet it was fun. After playing we got hungry a gain since it was time for another snack. We went to SM Batangas to have some snack and bought some ingredients to the pancit. We visited Pastor Sonny's house before we went back to Joenl's house. After our great supper we went swimming in Villa Ester Resort. There were only five of us in that entire resort and we had great fun. Sorry if I can't be that detailed with this post since I'm in a hurry. I just want to summarize that things that are in my mind right now. Thank you Lord for another wonderful vacation that you have given me. Thank you cause you are so great!
